“I love you regardless”
You say
But do you not see these claws?
Not meant to hold sleeping kittens but to take your heart out clean from your body.

But do you not see these teeth?
Not meant to nip your bottom lip but to take a chunk out of your heart once it is in my monstrous hands
“I love you regardless”
You say
But do you not see these horns?
Not meant to place flowers on but as extra measure to protect my own heart
